Property rental, sale and purchase brokerage; listing verification; escrow and payment facilitation; remote property management for diaspora owners; the online goods marketplace; and related platform technology and data services — all carried out within the corporate purpose of Valeir Holdings SARL.

Payments

Online Mobile Money escrow through CinetPay is currently in pilot and coming soon. Until it opens, property transactions close through our direct verified cash closing process: the property and parties are verified by Xodus Habitat before any money changes hands, and the closing is recorded on the platform. Once online escrow is live, funds held in escrow will be held on behalf of the parties and released according to the terms shown at the time of payment.

Privacy — identity verification data

Government ID documents and identity-verification photos (including selfies holding the ID) are a distinct, sensitive category of personal data. They are stored in private, access-restricted storage; ID numbers are kept encrypted and matched only by a one-way fingerprint. Only authorised Xodus Habitat administrators can view them. They are used solely to verify identity and to enforce permanent bans against people found misusing the platform — never for marketing, and never shown publicly or shared with other users.
